No. You (or an authorized representative) are only invoiced after the completion of services. Usually, this happens weekly. You never have to pay caregivers directly. And you’ll never be asked to pay an additional fee to any employee.
Medicare does provide an Eligibility Tool to see if your family qualifies, but they typically don’t pay for the type of hourly personal care service that Alliance Services provides. Alliance Services may be able to provide documentation to third parties such as long-term care insurance companies that could help you obtain the best coverage possible.
Additionally, Alliance Services has preferred relationships with many companies who either fully reimburse or partially reimburse for home healthcare. Typical accounts for reimbursement include reverse mortgage, health savings accounts (HSAs) and flexible spending accounts.
We also work with reimbursement programs like the Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefit, which is a benefit paid in addition to the monthly pension paid to Veterans and surviving spouses who require our services.
Under the TBI Medicaid Waiver Program and NHTD Medicaid Waiver Program, Medicaid pays for specialize home care. Medicaid does provide an Eligibility Tool to see if your family qualifies, please speak with our entitlement specialist.

We adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines related to the privacy of personal and healthcare information. This starts once we have a formal services agreement, before a caregiver even comes to your family member’s home. The written service agreement stipulates the exact restrictions on the use of your information, which clarifies that even unauthorized individuals will not be given access to information without a client’s – or legally authorized representative’s – formal consent.
Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and caregivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.
Every person is different, especially when it comes to health and what type of home care is needed. The exact cost of care needs to be based on listening to you, your family, your doctor, and observing your individual situation. Every family we serve receives a Custom Care Plan specific to their needs and budget. Several factors help determine the exact cost:
Number of hours of care per week Level of home care services received (non-medical, skilled nursing, etc.) Area of the country where services are provided Our home care services are typically billed on an hourly basis. This makes it easy to make a Custom Care Plan for you. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office. We’ll set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing a Custom Care Plan and the rates for each service on your plan.
We recommend an initial in-home care evaluation for each individual client. Often, these evaluations are done by the local Alliance Services office at no charge. Based on the in-home evaluation, a service plan is then developed to best meet the needs of the individual. It can include a little bit of assistance up to around-the-clock assistance. We always provide a written rate sheet prior to initiating care services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days notice. Charges are fairly based on quality care and individual needs. Please give our Alliance Services office a call to schedule an in-home evaluation or to request more information.
You can change the number or type of service we provide your loved one whenever it’s necessary. We understand the care situation can quickly change, so we’re as flexible as possible with your loved one’s care. Plus, you’re never bound to a long-term contract, so you can discontinue your relationship with Alliance Services at your discretion.
You don’t need pre-authorization, pre-qualification, certification, or even a prescription for Alliance Service’s services. You choose the services you want, when to start those services and how often those services are used.
If you request assistance with billing a private insurance policy (such as long-term care insurance) for our services, we’re happy to help with the entire “benefits coordination” process. This includes providing any documentation you need for reimbursement by an insurance carrier.
You don’t just hire a caregiver. You work with a full Care Team to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Before beginning home care services, the care team creates a schedule and a plan that covers all aspects of the appropriate care and go over it with the caregiver. A Client Care Manager at Alliance Services makes regular Quality Assurance visits to ensure the quality of care is exceptional and makes changes as needed.
Yes. We can visit seniors anywhere they need care. During hospital stays, our hospital sitters can provide around-the-clock companionship and monitoring for safety. Many residents of senior care communities also hire Alliance Services caregivers to provide the personal one-to-one attention they deserve. We can even accompany seniors on vacations, enabling them to travel in safety and freedom.
Our goal is to establish a long-term caregiving relationship with your loved one. Should your family want to request another caregiver for any reason, we’ll search for a match until your family is happy. We understand that a strong rapport and trust with a caregiver is vital to a successful home care experience.
If your loved one receives care for many hours in a day or at different times of the day throughout the week, it may be necessary to schedule more than one caregiver in a given week. If your family requires multiple caregivers, our goal is the same: we want you to be satisfied and happy. We’ll do what it takes to make sure we achieve that goal.
Our extensive roster of skilled caregivers includes those experienced and trained in a number of specialized care requirements that commonly affect older adults.
• Alzheimer’s disease
• Parkinson’s disease
• Dementia Cancer Rehabilitation
• Orthopedics Stroke and Neurology
• Traumatic Brain Injuries
Often, a family member or friend cares for an aging loved one, but the job can be stressful and puts pressure on the relationship. Respite Care is temporary or hourly care designed to give family caregivers a much needed break so they can take care of our priorities in their life and prevent caregiver burnout.
Some Alliance Services staff can administer medications. Check with your Alliance Services Home Care Coordinator on the services they can provide to your loved one. Regardless of whether staff can administer medicine, they can always assist in reminding individuals to take their medications. In fact, medication reminders are one of our most requested services. We can also report any side effects and assist with pre-measured medication packages.
Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. And with our proprietary screening and selection system, you can rest assured that we do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right caregiver to you and your family. However, you must be satisfied. We always try to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregivers (as allowed by law).
Alliance Services uses several tools to track our caregivers. First, we use simple timesheets filled out by each caregiver. Then, we use a combination of Internet-based solutions to verify time and attendance. This allows you to have a written record of services within the home where care is provided. And we can provide written verification at any time.
Also, our itemized invoices are always sent after services are complete. This lets you ask any questions about time or date of care, and it allows us to make any schedule adjustments before your invoice is sent.
Home care provides seniors with one-on-one assistance from a trained caregiver in the comfort of his or her own home. With assistance from a caregiver, seniors are able to live at home independently and maintain their quality of life. The personal attention they receive vastly improves their safety, health and happiness.
By remaining in their homes, seniors are able to maintain the lifestyle they have been accustomed to enjoying throughout their life. Keeping all their possessions and familiar surroundings, home care clients are able to visit the same stores, restaurants, neighbors and parks they know and love.
Alliance Services brings peace of mind to families because your loved one is cared for by the very best, most reliable caregivers. On-call to serve you 24/7, we eliminate the effort and worry of finding, screening, paying and managing a caregiver. If your caregiver ever runs late or becomes ill or is unable to keep the scheduled visit, we will find a qualified substitute caregiver. Alliance Services reduces stress for the whole family. Plus, our caregivers allow family members to enjoy quality time with their loved ones, instead of focusing on stressful daily needs.
Our experienced caregivers offer seniors safety, companionship, emotional support and they make sure they receive proper nutrition, they are taking the correct medication, and more. Alliance Services caregivers are highly skilled and specially trained in emotional support, nutritional guidance, fall prevention, brain-sharpening activities and even light physical activity. We spend significant time matching the perfect caregiver with the client based on personality, life experience and commonalities.
Alliance Services interviews 25 caregivers for everyone that we hire. We start by requiring a minimum of two years of verifiable experience with excellent references. Next, we conduct thorough background checks including local and national criminal records, driving record checks and verify eligibility for employment. Alliance Services caregivers are fully bonded, insured, licensed where required and covered by workers’ compensation insurance.
There’s no service contract with Alliance Services. That means you can use our services for only as long as you need and with 100% satisfaction. Start enjoying worry-free senior care now!
With our daily care service, caregivers come in shifts and stay with the client around the clock, ready to assist with all activities of daily living and ensuring safety at all hours of the day. 24/7 care provides service for those seniors who require close supervision at all times. Hourly care is typically provided at a minimum of four hours but is also available for more consecutive hours at a time.
We start by attracting and hiring the best, most experienced caregivers in the area. We screen them with the most comprehensive tests in the industry. But we don’t leave it at that. Alliance Services has developed exclusive training programs to provide nutrition and longevity-promoting techniques. We even have a monthly newsletter that keeps all of our caregivers up-to-date on the latest insights in the home care industry.
Yes. Every caregiver is an Alliance Service employee. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
